Furrrrr-oscious Fall

I don’t know if you have noticed, but faux fur is everywhere lately!

Faux fur is a fierce trend that will illuminate your fashionista’s wild side. As it gets closer and closer to winter, we are going to see more and more of it. If you take a look through some of your favorite stores, you will see faux fur everywhere. There are hats, vests, skirts, purses, and accessories to dress up your everyday outfit. Of all the accessories and clothing that I have been seeing around in stores, the faux fur hat and vest have to be my favorite. They come in a variety of shades and they are the perfect piece to catch the eye of your classmates. Here are a few ways for you to wear this trend:

Some of you might be a little nervous to try adding such a bold piece into their wardrobe and that is okay! Try starting with a fur lined piece or a bag to ease your way into this trend. Once you try it, I know you will love it!

If you decide that you want to do something a little more adventurous, I suggest working with the vest to accent basic pieces or layer underneath it. There are a lot of basic pieces out in stores that will pair great with a fur vest. Be sure you don’t create a look that is too cluttered- the focus should be on the vest and the rest of your outfit should work to make it look good. Here are some that I think would be easy to work with:

Try a bunch of stuff out before you stick with one style. Make sure you feel comfortable in what you have chosen. Once you decide on the style, you can work to evolve a look that is all on your own; or you can try my favorite and look for inspiration in the past.
