The rain has finally hit socal and I am more than excited to pull all my sweaters out of hiding! There is nothing better than an awesome cup of coffee and a chunky sweater to help me relax on a cold day. So cozy up next to your computer and I'll show you a few of my favorite ways to wear sweaters are going to be this fall.

With so many sweater options out this fall at your favorite stores, fashionistas might run into problems. This look can be tricky to get right, because if you don't find the right sweater for your body shape, it could make you look bigger and chunkier than you actually are. And no girl wants that. We have all had those days where we walk out the door thinking we look like we belong in a magazine ------>
when really, we just look sloppy. So, I am going to explain how to wear this look right.










The trick is to find the right size and the right amount of volume in your sweater. If you are curvy, you have to make sure that the sweater you chose is not too thick - chose a sweater with a thinner material, but a super cute texture.

You can pair these with a skirt, shorts, leggings, or jeans. Accessorize with a cute pair of heals or some fabulous boots. Dress it up or down and get creative. 

For the girls that are looking for the chunky sweater, I suggest going with a basic color. With the thicker fabric, I would suggest accenting your outfit with dark and vibrant color, like maroon (my favorite color for this fall). 

Ladies! Do not be afraid to use these sweaters with different styles. Wear it as a dress, as a second layer, or as a shirt. On days when it is hot outside, pair it with shorts or a skirt and maybe even a cute pair of tights. One of the cutest sweater/shorts combos I have seen lately is a pink pair of shorts with a knit sweater. 

Sweaters even look good on the beach!

No matter what your weather is like, you can always find a look for sweaters. Some days you just want to feel comfortable. Work on mix matching colors and if you buy a sweater that has a bold color in it, grab your color wheel to find a color scheme for your outfit. Just because you are comfortable, does not mean you can't look well put together.
